ADF P25 test

The ADF P25 active filter gives you everything in a compact format. Although compact and cost-effective, the ADF P25 features the same excellent cutting-edge performance as its bigger ADF P300 or ADF P100 family members.

Like its bigger brothers, the ADF P25 is ultra-efficient and easy to use.

The ADF P25 has a nominal compensation current of 30 A RMS (three wire, 480V). The compact design allows the ADF P25 to be used in applications where space is at a premium.

The ADF P25 can be commissioned using the Web User Interface (WUI) called ADF Dashboard.  No special software needs to be installed on the laptop to perform commissioning, all that is needed is a laptop with an ethernet port and an ethernet cable and a recent web browser.

The optional HMI-3 provides a graphical interface for commissioning, operation and systems management. Standard equipment is an indicator button which can start and stop the system.

In addition to the WUI, you can interface to the standard hardware using Modbus TCP (license key is required). You can start/stop the system, read out power quality data, and change control parameters and settings via fieldbus. The flexible functionality allows integration to overlying control such as a PLC or SCADA systems. The overlying system can change control parameters, or change compensation sets on the fly. This is useful in for example marine- and generator applications.

Each ADF P25 active filter is customized to maximize performance in each application. The common features that all systems share include:

APPLICATION FEATURES

Dynamic VAR compensation

Harmonic elimination

Load balancing

CONTROL FEATURES

Fully customizable harmonic compensation

Several ADF P25s can be combined for higher power

Insensitive to network conditions

Idle mode during low load (Standby)

Non-overloadable

Low response time

ADF Dashboard WUI (Web User Interface)

Floating grid frequency support

PHYSICAL FEATURES

Standard enclosure format system, according to IP20, EN50298, EN60529, EN50102

High short circuit capacity

Simple installation

Modular and scalable design

The ADF P25 is compatible with all three phase low voltage applications. It automatically eliminates harmonics and reactive displacement in a wide range of applications.

Further, the ADF P25 can be tailored to unusual applications requiring special optimizations. Some typical applications include:

  • Drive systems
  • Pump aplications
  • Offices and commercial buildings
  • Medical equipment
  • Industrial loads
  • UPS systems
  • Fans
